No Mobs

My name is Vladimir. I moved to the U.S. in 2024. At the time I crossed the border, I read The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, and the like, and I was strongly pro-Democratic. I thought that Republicans were enemies of freedom and progress, and that Trump was like Putin or worse.

However, as I got real-life exposure to issues in the U.S. such as discrimination, crime, inequality, and immigration, I realized that the outlets I respected told lies and that my understanding of American politics up to that point was wrong. One side was for liberty, personal responsibility, and the rule of law; the other side was for coercion, handouts, and lawlessness.

Dictatorships and overly polite free societies share one thing: a small group of bullies manipulating, intimidating, and dominating large numbers of people. Russia has Putin; America has mobs of misguided or malicious people who swarm American cities and force the majority to submit to their demands, entitlement, and ignorance.

Opposing the violent minority in Russia, which I left in 2016, left you with only three choices: death, prison, or alcoholism. In the U.S., you can fight the mobs off.

I want to give back to the country that gave me the opportunity to pursue my American dream. Besides being a productive member of the economy, I would also like to contribute to the society. I want to warn unaware people of mob rule, Marxism, and lawlessness. No Mobs is the logical response to the false narrative of the No Kings campaign.

I hope to make some difference and want to connect with people who see the same dangers. Please reach me at [email protected].
